Young Business Leaders Council
View Other Committees

The Young Business Leaders Council (YBLC) has been a working Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce Committee for the past three years. Each annual class comprised of 20-30 "up and comers" in the business community has opportunities to demonstrate leadership, expand upon business networks, and build skill sets while positively contributing to the community. Typically YBLC members who have completed the program have either stayed involved with the YBLC or have gone on to serve on the MRCC executive board or other Chamber committees. Beginning in 2009 the YBLC will be restructuring its membership levels to maximize potential growth as recognized network of young professionals. The Council will continue to build its mission, goals and agenda with a focus on developing leadership skills in young business leaders. Any individual interested in serving on the 2009 council will be accepted into its general membership circle. Those interested in taking a proactive role in the council’s development and leadership will be interview for consideration. If you would like to learn more about the council, please email Janell Petrocelli, janell@mercerchamber.org and she will send you a copy of the Council's Overview, Committe Descriptions, and Nomination Form.

The Young Business Leaders Council is hosting a"Who's Who" Evening Networking Event on December 3, 2008 at Katmandu from 5:30 -7:30.
