The Lawrenceville office of Weidel Realtors is partnering with Dress for Sucess of Mercer County to collect Fall/Winter clothing in good condition to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women in Mercer County by providing professional attire to enter the workforce. If you would like to become a volunteer, please contact us.
Admission: The following items are being accepted on September 13th and 14th beween 10:00 and 5:00 p.m. - business suits, jackets, slacks, skirts, blouses, new hosiery, costume jewelry, scarves, purses, briefcases and new or gently worn closed toe shoes. Donations are tax deductible.

Capital Rainbowfest VI celebrates the rich heritage of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex communities and their contributions to society. It is a day for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together for an afternoon of fun, live music, games for the children, and an art exhibit. The PRIDE festival includes vendors offering services, products, food and beverages. Capital Rainbowfest is the third largest PRIDE festival in New Jersey drawing more than 1,000 people.

Great Golf for a Great Cause. For nearly 20 years the Rothwell Family, owners and operators of Pennington Quality Market, have supported Cerebral Palsy of New Jersey with this golf outing. It has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for children and adults with all types of disabilities. Join us for 18 holes on one of New Jersey's finest courses.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mercer County announces its annual food, wine and beer tasting event, to be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 (6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.) at the Greenacres Country Club, 2170 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ.
The night includes food specialties prepared by 20 of New Jerseys finest restaurants, international wine and beer tastings hosted by Glendale Liquors, the Meg Hanson Band featuring Billy Hill, a raffle for a South African Safari, and a silent auction.
